Meet the host

Patrizia Marchei

Patrizia is a writer, mother, and grandmother who, along with her husband, purchased their estate 20 years ago on the border between Umbria and Lazio. They dreamed of restoring the old countryside farmhouses and creating a haven of relaxation and connection with nature for their guests. Sassinoro was the final project in this journey—a beautifully restored manor house that now overlooks the entire valley. It stands as a testament to their unique style and design, reflecting the care and passion they have poured into this countryside retreat.
